Exposure MCX System This is an astounding new system from Exposure.It comprises a CD Player, a Pre-Amplifier and two Mono-Block Power Amps. The Cd Player has 4 separate DAC boards with PCM1704 multi-bit DACs, discrete transistor I-V and analogue filter. Each board has a separate regulated supply for DAC and audio circuits • Multiple stages of voltage regulation for critical circuits • Very low jitter master clock distribution with multiple voltage regulators and smoothing (CD mode) • Re-clocking of critical digital signals to the DAC (CD mode) • Large toroidal power transformer with separate windings for mechanism, CD display, DAC and audio outputs. The Pre-Amplifier consists of a Mono printed circuit board (PCB) construction to ensure low cross-talk between channels • Available with either MM or MC phono cards fitted • All discrete transistor audio circuits • Input switching and volume attenuation by high quality reed relays • X1 gain setting for easy integration into an audio-visual (AV) system when the input is in AV mode 12V input and output trigger system allows control of, or from, an AV system. The Power Amps are a Monoblock design ensuring low interaction between channels • Very large toroidal power transformer (1400VA) with separate windings for the main supply to the power output stage and the critical, low level input circuit • Separate supplies to the input stage and output stage. Input stage is regulated for high PSRR • Switchable between balanced and unbalanced input modes • Built-in protection against over-current, DC off-set and high temperature • 12V input and output trigger system allows control of, or from, an audio-visual (AV) system.
